Supplement
A supplement is an application to allow a company to make changes in a product that already has an approved new drug application (NDA). CDER must approve all important NDA changes (in packaging or ingredients, for instance) to ensure the conditions originally set for the product are still met.
Supplement

One or more pages formed by one or more printed sheets that are not bound into a
Periodicals publication. A supplement may be devoted to a single topic and may contain material different from that in the host publication.

Supplement

A request for additional funds either for the current operating year or for any future year recommended previously. Also known as a Type 3 application or award, a supplement can be either non-competing (administrative) or competing (subject to peer review); however, the latter is now called 'Revision'.

Supplement

Something added to complete a thing, make up for a deficiency, or extend or strengthen the whole.  In Probate, these are generally filed to correct defects noted by the Probate Examiner.
