DEFINITION
Probability of Discrimination

This is the probability that an object which is threatening will be correctly identified.
The ability to discriminate between a potential target and a decoy is quantified by a
“K” factor, in which the higher the numeric the greater the probability of discrimination (thus, a “0” K factor implies that the target is indistinguishable from the decoy).
