Orbital Elements

Any set of several parameters (e.g., semi-major axis, eccentricity, inclination, etc.) used to specify the position and motion of a satellite. Six independent orbital elements are required to unambiguously specify the position of a satellite in a Keplerian orbit at a particular time.
