"Key Attributes": Bank resolution. (KAs). In 2011, the G20 leaders endorsed the Financial Stability Board’s Key Attributes of Effective Resolution for Financial Institutions as an ‘international standard’ for resolving financial firms approaching - or already in - financial distress. KAs include two techniques for resolving standard commercial banks: 1. Liquidation and Payout (L&P) 2. Purchase and Assumption (P&A)
