An ITU-T standard that enables video conferencing over local-area networks (LANs) and other packet-switched networks, as well as video over the Internet.

H.323

Specified in International Telecommunications Union-Telecommunications (ITU-T) specification H.323, the specification for transmitting multimedia (voice, video, and data) across a network, and is used in some VoIP architectures.
