Financial Services Authority

"Financial Services Authority": (FSA). The former UK body which, amongst its duties, was the regulatory authority in the UK for most financial services markets, exchanges and firms. The FSA's former responsibilities have now been divided and transferred to: 1. The Financial Conduct Authority; and2. The Prudential Regulation Authority. Some of the FSA's functions were comparable with the CFTC in the United States.
