"European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority": (EIOPA). A Committee of the European Union in the Lamfalussy process. EIOPA consists of the European Union's insurance and pension fund supervisory authorities. Formerly known as the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors (CEIOPS).
