Direct Air Support Center

A subordinate operational component of a tactical air control system designed for
control and direction of close air support and other tactical air support operations, and normally collocated with fire support coordination elements.

Direct Air Support Center

The principal air control agency of the United States Marine Corps air command and control system responsible for the direction and control of air operations directly supporting the ground combat element. Also called DASC.
