Consequential Loss

"Consequential loss": 1. Law. A loss which is the indirect - but foreseeable - consequence of a breach of contract. 2. More broadly, any loss caused indirectly (rather than directly). For example a loss of profit resulting from a delay in completing the building of a factory.
