Ancillary Services

Services that the Independent System Operator may develop, in cooperation with market participants, to ensure reliability and to support the transmission of energy from generation sites to customer loads. Such services may include: regulation, spinning reserve, nonspinning reserve, replacement reserve, voltage support, and black start.
