Alteration

A physical change to a structure orsite. Alteration does not include normal maintenance and repair or total demolition. Alteration does include the following:

  • Changes to the facade of a building;
  • Changes to the interior of a building;
  • Increases or decreases in floor area of a building;
  • Changes to other structures on the site, or the development of new structures;
  • Changes to exterior improvements;
  • Changes to landscaping; and
  • Changes in the topography of the site.
