Additional Voluntary Contributions

"Additional voluntary contributions": UK Pensions. (AVCs). UK pension contributions over and above those contractually required, paid by a scheme member and thus securing additional pension benefits. Payments to a scheme separate from the members' occupational pension scheme are known as free-standing additional voluntary contributions (FSAVCs).
