About

The U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development (IEED) is maintaining the Tribal Energy and Environmental Information Clearinghouse (TEEIC). The U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of Indian Energy and Economic Development (IEED) addresses the overarching issue of economic development in Indian Country so that tribes will have a solid economic foundation to achieve self-governance. IEED assists tribes with developing economic infrastructure, increasing business knowledge, increasing jobs and businesses, increasing capital investment, and developing energy and mineral resources. The Office supports tribal development of energy and mineral resources on trust lands and management of special economic programs, grants, projects, and initiatives to advance reservation economies.
